A focused Agniveervayu Other-than-Science preparation dashboard built from the March 2026 papers and the September exam strategy.
Use this before deciding what to study.
This is the average, not a rule for every question. Easy marks should move fast; longer questions should be deferred.
31 March 2026 • Shift 1 + Shift 2
Master the recurring core before expanding coverage.
Turn the paper pattern into a sequence.
Both shifts: 20 English questions. The repeated pattern strongly favours grammar and sentence correction alongside a small RC component.
Error detection/correction → subject–verb agreement → tenses → articles → prepositions → pronouns → voice → narration → fillers → synonyms/antonyms → spelling → rearrangement → word forms → RC.
Both shifts: 12 reasoning questions. The useful preparation unit is the question family, not an oversized chapter list.
Build recognition speed. If the pattern is not visible quickly, mark it and move.
Both shifts: 10 maths questions. Prioritise fast, familiar arithmetic and number-system work.
Accuracy under time pressure matters more than attempting every lengthy calculation.
The March papers mixed contemporary current affairs with static GK, science and computer basics.
Move from drilling to full-test execution.
Do the work, time it, record it.
Error categories: concept • calculation • silly mistake • misread • time pressure • guessing.
Find avoidable marks lost after every test. Repeated guessing is a strategy problem.
Keep this simple under pressure.
Clear easy questions and build a safe score. Don't wrestle with one question.
Return to moderate questions and controlled calculations.
Selected difficult questions + final review. Avoid panic guessing.
Training targets only — not official cutoffs.
Revision replaces expansion.
